I love Easter......

It is the greatest event ever to happen in the world! I love celebrating my Risen Lord Jesus. The thought of all the things He went through just so I could live eternally with him blows my mind everytime I think of it. He felt real emotions just like we do. He didnt wont to die but He knew it was the Fathers will and He died a very painful death. He did it all just so we could live a life of forgiveness and victory through him!!

I am so tired also. We had a GREAT Easter Service at church yesterday. Tons of people, picnic and the kids had a egg hunt even though it was cold here. Good 'ol Texas weather brought snow on Saturday and cold temps on Sunday. Last week on Thursday, I had my air conditioner running and then on Friday we had to turn the heat on!!! Truly only in Texas!

I am so glad to be serving a Lord that is alive and well today. God is good all the time!!

Busy........

Busy life these days. We just had Spring Break last week and now we are back in the full swing of things! Our church's annual Missions Conference is this weekend. So with that comes meetings, meetings, and more meetings. I absolutely love Missions Conference. I would love to sell everything we have and leave tomorrow if that what the Lord would allow. Our church has a huge heartbeat for missions and it is an exciting time every year!! Looking forward to visiting with Sandy Carter from Nicaragua. I have been down there the past 2 summers with our church and it has been GREAT! Sandy has an incredible ministry in Nicaragua and is worthy of all the support she gets and much more! Brother Dirk Wood will also be here. Have known Dirk and his family for many years now and he truly never ceases to amaze me with what he allows the Lord to do through him. He is without a doubt, one of a kind missionary.
So with that I will close for now. Gotta go get ready for the kiddos at church. See yall later!

Yesterday Blog..........

Just to clear things up for those that read my blog post yesterday. I am not committing some great sin, I just needed to thank God for always being there from the past until today to pick me up and forgive me. Forgiveness is a daily thing and we all need it. Just felt like I needed to clear the air on that. Thank you.

It destroys everything in its path! Help us O Lord not to disguise it as "prayer". Today is a new day that you have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! I love you Lord.

Thankful.............

I am thankful today that I serve a very loving and forgiving God. Sometimes I think can he forgive just one more time and then I screw up again. I also wonder how many times God can forgive me and then decide thats it. Well I know he will forgive all the time because he is a very merciful God. I just need to learn from my mistakes and move on. I am striving for excellency in all I do and I want to please the Lord in evrerything. Well I am far from that. Some days or better than others. Then it seems like there are days when all I do is mess up. I know this sounds crazy but I just wanted to write today and say that I am thankful for a loving God who never gives up on me and continues to pick me and hold me and love more and more everyday!
