Not Very Consistent

I am not very consistent with this blogging but here is a post for you. There has been so much going on with me lately. I have done alot of traveling this summer. In June, I did VBS one week, then a kids camp for 8 days in Alabama the next week, and then another kids camp in North Carolina the following week. Returned home for 3 weeks and then left for 9 days to Nicaragua with mission team from church. Went away for evening with my husband to celebrate 15 years of awesome marriage. Then next week I am going away for 4 days to San Antonio for a Beth Moore conference!! Woo.. That is alot of traveling!!! I love to travel but it has been a bit much this year!! All that to say--- I am glad to be home with my awesome husband and daughter. Just cant put the suitcase away yet!

Amanda

I am so happy these days! Amanda has started a new school and she is loving it. She is attending a new charter school and has made many new friends that are GOOD influences on her. I often tell people that I have one shot at this parent thing and I am going to give it all I have to be right in everything. Amanda has such a tender spirit and love for the Lord that Rob and I want to do everything we can to help progress that through the years. I know the Lord has great things in store for Amanda and her life. When she gets older I want her to be able to know what it means to serve the Lord with all her might!! God is good!!!

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in Him!!

God is good to me

I am very thankful for what the Lord is speaking in my life these days. I am giving up things that I enjoy doing to "simplify" my life. I know He is in control. I am praying for guidance and direction on a situation that I feel He has been speaking to me about. So I know that He will answer in His time and I will be satisfied.

Psalm 90:14

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives

Not Very Consistent

I am not very consistent on this blog thing, but am gonna try to be better. I just want to say how much I love my family today. I have been blessed beyond any little girl dream I ever had on how my own family would be. I have a husband who I worship and a daughter who is growing up way to fast but loves her life to the fullest. God is so good and I just want to say thank you Jesus for blessing my life when I dont deserve the beautiful and wonderful things you have given me!
I love you Jesus and seek your face today.

sucks sometimes! Sorry about the strong word but it has been a crabby day! Just needed to write down that life is not always roses and today was one of those days!
