Change

I just returned from a 3 day trip to San Antonio to hear Beth Moore live. For those that dont know her, she writes women's Bible Studies that are AWESOME!! Our church has done them for 4 years now and they are just incredible. This was the first time I have seen her live. Needless to say I have been changed. I have been refreshed which was much needed after this summer. After feeling God's presence that I havent felt for awhile now I was faced with a test. Without going into it I have been assured by my Father that HE IS IN CONTROL and I have to GIVE IT to HIM and HE ALONE will carry it for me!!! I was also blown away by her worship leader named Travis Cottrell. I am telling you this, if he is leading worship when Jesus decides to return I will be ready with wings on!! I havent felt that amazed in a long time. The intimacy with Jesus was just incredible!! I am changed and I know more change is coming!!! I have to take baby steps as I often get so excited about something that I usually dont walk it out. Well I am determined to walk this through and be forever changed!! I long to be in worship constantly like I have been these past 2 days!! I know that Jesus was saying, welcome home my daughter. You know He NEVER leaves us, its just that we take side roads. And for me, I take them way to often!! I want to take the straight and narrow path and be led into the very presence of Jesus on a daily basis. I am changed and I look forward to what the Lord has for me. I am an heir and I have an incredible inheritance awaiting me. I will walk like a changed person for that is what I am. Old things are GONE and I have been made NEW today in my precious Father's arms!! I love you Jesus and thank you for holding out your hands.

Not Very Consistent

I am not very consistent with this blogging but here is a post for you. There has been so much going on with me lately. I have done alot of traveling this summer. In June, I did VBS one week, then a kids camp for 8 days in Alabama the next week, and then another kids camp in North Carolina the following week. Returned home for 3 weeks and then left for 9 days to Nicaragua with mission team from church. Went away for evening with my husband to celebrate 15 years of awesome marriage. Then next week I am going away for 4 days to San Antonio for a Beth Moore conference!! Woo.. That is alot of traveling!!! I love to travel but it has been a bit much this year!! All that to say--- I am glad to be home with my awesome husband and daughter. Just cant put the suitcase away yet!
