I LOVE...........

My husband, Rob! On Valentines Day my love got me the most BEAUTIFUL pink roses I have ever seen. I know they were waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy expensive being valentine day and all but my moon god knows how to make me happy. He is the best romantic ever and I love him more and more everyday. He also got me a spa pedicure which I cant wait to use when the weather gets right for flip flops. Cause if you know me at all, you know 2 things I love----- coffee and flipflops!!!

The sun is out today and I think it is going to be a nice day and all. I am going to pick up Amanda at Abigails house after she spent the night. The kiddos are out of school today for Presidents Day. So pooter head will be with us at work.

I am happy today and I love my family so very much!!

YUCKY WEATHER MAKES ME............

ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont like the cold and wind. Today is a yucky weather day. I am so ready for HOT weather here in Texas. When I moved here 16 yrs ago I knew I would like the weather. Cause I love the hot sun! Anyway I am happy today but angry that it is sooooooooooooo cold right now! Can you be happy and angry all at the same time? Oh well!

Happy........

I am so happy today. I went away for the weekend to PTA State Convention in San Antonio. Had tons of fun and GREAT food. BUT, I am happy to be home again with my family. I missed them so much. I love to travel but it is so nice to come home to a loving husband and daughter who adore me! (hehehehe)
I have a great life and am thankful for it more and more each day. The weather has definetly gone way downhill here. It is cold and rainy. Suppose to get more yucky weather later in week. I am so ready for HOT Texas weather! I can always cool off but never seem to get warm enough during the winter time. Anyway I am happy today and glad to be home.

Thoughts..............

Today is a good day. Well the weather has certainly gone downhill. It is a cold rainy day here in the good ol state of Texas. Yesterday was gorgeous with high in 70's now it is cold again. Only in Texas can we have such drastic change in 24 hour period.

Today I am thinking how much the Lord loves me and will do anything to keep my mind on him. I have a prayer group that meets at my house every Thursday morning to pray for our kids and the schools. It is called MOMS IN TOUCH. It is an awesome organization and I am proud to be apart of it. We read scripture about God's love for us. I am just so thankful that no matter how much we mess this thing called life up, His love never ever changes for us. He is there to pick us up and hug us and let us know that HE STILL LOVES us. We are his precious possessions and he will not let us go!! I am so thankful for that. I pray that He be Lord over ever thought in my stupid head. I want to be pleasing to him.

Also I am thinking of my wonderful husband, Rob. We are going to celebrate 14 years of wonderful marriage this June. I love him more and more everyday. He has given me the world and I live on top of it because of him. I think of all the things we have been through together in the 16 years we have known each other. College life, dating, dating, marriage, birth of our child, job changes, family deaths, doggie deaths, pure craziness and yet my love is stronger today than ever. You are my moon god baby and I just want you to know how much you mean to me today. I love you forever and NOTHING will ever change that.

Praying..........

I am praying today for my precious little girl. Tears are welling up in my eyes right now as I think of her. You see, she has a classmate whose daddy was killed over the weekend by random act. This little 8 year old girl no longer has a daddy to come home to. It makes me so very sad. My daughter TRULY has the worlds GREATEST Daddy! The thought of losing him anytime is so unbearable. I pray to the good Lord above that we all will be together for a very looooooooooong time. I love Robbie so much and am very thankful that the Lord has blessed our life together with the gift of a daughter. Help us O Lord to continue to train her in your ways that when she grows up she will follow you all the days of her life.

I love you Lord and thank you for my family today!!

Here We Go Again.............

Ok I am going to try this thing again. I dont know how many postings will be here but we will give it a try. I admire Rob's blog so much and hopefully will be able to keep this thing up and running. So today is beautiful!!!!!!!! The sun is out and the blue skies are incredible. We are heading to around 70 degrees. It makes me very happy to see the sun!!
